Edward Leo Eisenmenger was born on the 25th of November 1922 in Woolwich Ontario to his parents Gustave Leo Eisenmenger and Philomena Catherine Lenhard. Growing up Edward lived in Galt Ontario.
Before enlisting in the military Edward worked for the Schieder meat company.
When Edward Leo Eisenmenger joined the military, he was stationed at Camp Borden, Niagara-on-the-lake and Ipperwash before going overseas in July 1943. When he went overseas, he transferred to the Essex Scottish Regiment
Edward Leo Eisenmenger is a Lance Corporal
Eddy Eisenmenger died in Ardenais, France on July 18th, 1944. He is commemorated on page 299 of the Second World War book of remembrance. He is also remembered locally on page 26 of the Linwood Scrapbook.
