Home of the
Burlington Teen Tour Band

The Burlington Music Centre is the home of the Burlington Teen Tour Band located at 2311 New Street in Burlington’s Central Park Recreational Complex. 

The Music Centre is also home to the Junior Redcoats (formerly the "Peanut Band"), The Burlington Concert Band, music lessons for all and Summer Concerts in the Park Series.

These are all spin-offs due to the Burlington Teen Tour Band.

The Burlington Music Centre also includes:

  • An outdoor bandshell, for Concerts in the Park
  • A Drumline/Colour Guard room, complete with mirrored walls.
  • A Uniform room, able to store 250 uniforms along
  • Offices for the director, the instructors, the administrator, Jr. Redcoat director and the band booster’s office.
  • Has the largest rehearsal hall in Canada, complete with sound acoustic ceiling and walls.  The hall accommodates 250 band members along with room for up to 150 spectators.
  • A Music Library
  • Many trophy cabinets and displays
  • A loading room and loading dock enabling the band’s truck to conveniently load and unload from the back of the building.
  • Central Park Recreation Complex includes three large parking lots for marching practice, as well as football size practice fields.

From mid June until the end of August, the Music Centre hosts Concerts in the Park, Wednesday and Sunday evenings at 7:30 p.m. 

Woodwind, brass and percussion lessons are taught by qualified instructors week-day evenings from September to June. For more information on music lessons - email
